WHAT DO I PUT IN THESE DARN COLLEGE APPLICATION ENVELOPES? You must bring envelopes addressed to each of the colleges to which you are applying. You must put 2 stamps inside each envelope (no sticking!) and your name on the inside flap of the envelope. Do not put your return address on the envelope. We will put the school's address there. You must fill out and attach an application checklist for each envelope. These are available in the college office.
Here is what you should put in the envelopes you bring to the college office:
CUNY /UAPC General Freshman Admission Macaulay Honors College P. O. BOX 350136 OR P. O. Box 359021 Brooklyn, NY 11235-0001 Brooklyn, NY 11235-0001
I. Transcript –the CUNY application will ask you to enter your OSIS (students ID #) in Section 2. This grants them access to your transcript so we do not need to mail them your transcript.
II. SAT/ACT scores and the Document Return Receipt- CUNY accepts a paper copy of your SAT/ACT scores only if you attach the Document Return Receipt that you will be prompted to print once you complete your application. If you choose to send them electronically from the College Board or ACT websites, you should send them to the UAPC, code 2950.
III. Payment and Application Fee Return Receipt- There are no CUNY fee waivers. You must pay the $65 with a check, credit card, or money order. If you pay with a check or money order, you must include the Application Fee Return Receipt that you will be prompted to print after you submit your application online. If you pay with a credit card online, you do not need to mail your payment.
IV. Teacher/Counselor Recommendations: If you are asked for an e-mail address, use hstatcollegeoffice@gmail.com.
